The effort to climb high becomes
Exhileration on the downswing.
Feeling on top of the world one moment,
Then feet back on the ground the next.
The swings we experience when young
Prepare us for those we will encounter later.
The majestic trees watch, and remember.
They've seen it all before, and will see it all again.

Laura Jayne, thank you for posting my photo. I apologize, I haven't participated in your wonderful blog as of late...this time of year is extremely busy for me and I miss the interaction...still an avid visitor and will get back into the swing of things shortly...I still love the creativity your blog inspires.

Take long, slow steps,
through an Eden unaware.
My soul takes a breath,
as eyes dance with the leaves.
A palette of beauty erupts,
as a tapestry unfolds for all.
