Out with the old and in with the new,
Fool yourself with a resolution or two:
Loose some weight,
Clean the shed,
Fix the gate,
Rotate the bed,
A habit to quit,
Some notes to write,
Get more fit,
Forget some slight,
Walk each day,
Drink good wine,
Open a café,
Protect your spine,
More quality time,
Be more polite,
Remove the grime,
That novel to write,
The list is endless, goes on and on.
Perhaps we’ve got this whole thing wrong.
We load ourselves with lists of guilt;
With the bricks of “must”, failure’s built.
What if we forgot our baggage to date
And started again, with a clean slate?

I have learned to dream
with possibility of being true.

I have opened my eyes in this world
to sight of future anew.

God has taken my heart in His Hand
holding it ever so firmly.

God knows not to let go of me
no matter how much I squirmly ;o).

I have,
God Is,
And together we dance

For it is only with Him
that I'm able to chance.

~To have found this site, I'm able to grow; such a blessing! May you all celebrate the coming of our New Year safely, happily and with great appreciation! Love to you all, my friends!

Thank you, Miss Laura Jayne ~ for everything.

Great poems by J. Cosmo Newbery and Simply Heather, I loved them! At the end of each year I get sad because the year is over and I think about things not done, loved ones that might have passed away. But I welcome the new year because it gives me the opportunity to start fresh and set new goals for myself. God is a powerful strength in my life and I have learned that he is in control. I wish everyone a Happy,Healthy and Blessed 2009!

"Possibilities" says it all. I love the beginning of a year. Even thought in reality it is just another day...it seems so much more. The chance to start over, even possible forgiveness of transgressions during the prior year, the opportunity to start again with a clean slate. Such a liberating feeling. My goal is to attempt to remember this feeling as I move into next year. When things go south, I will remind myself that it is just another day like January 1st and remember how I felt on that day. I am ready and excited about the "Possibilities".

Honestly I don't know where to begin.
Tell her that, or tell this to him?
Clean my room? Nah. It'll wait.
Get all A's? Why not?
Start guitar again? Definitely.
Get the cast off? Hopefully.
Write more? Durr.
Try to work it all out with my mom? Well I don't really know...
Finish the Beatles puzzle? I'll try.
Take pictures? Yeppers.
Love life? Mhmm.
