The sun is out,
The rain has stopped,
The world is bright and clean,
Let's go play!

SHADOWS
Shadows come and shadows go
On a sunny day
Dancing, jumping, twirling, skipping
Happy all the way
You always have a friend close by
When the sun is shining
A shadow makes the perfect pal
You never hear no whining
Some may say that shadows are
For the young at heart
But take it from me, tho' I may be old
My shadow is my precious part
Happy shadows, here and there
Happy shadows everywhere
Some move fast, some move slow
Some stand still and watch me go
Happy shadows, there and here
Happy shadows shed no tear
Some are thin, some are fat
Some will move from that to that
Happy shadows, have no face
Happy shadows, in every place
Some may follow, some may lead
Some will stand so close indeed
Happy shadows, I do see
Happy shadows, they will be
Shadows are dark against the light
They throw contrast to what we see
Many say the light is goodness
And shadows signify the bleak
But my shadow is happy
Happy because it sees the light on the other side
Happy because without it, we couldn't see the light
Happy because without it, there could be no light
My shadow in the grass smiles up at me
Darker then the rest
Bringing me more knowledge than the best
Shadows are dark against the light
They throw contrast to what we see
Many say the light is goodness
My shadow makes that so
The shadows reflect the love I feel
The children dancing in the field
Shall I be blessed again
The shadows dance about
I love to shout with glee
And am thankful that they are with me

We are a shadow, a shell
of a family.
We hold hands, together
in unity.
And we take what's left
of our faith and our power
And we walk toward the light
shining from the distant tower
with our heads held high
and our grips strong
we pretend we can fly
and we sing a song.
