If only they knew what they were doing was wrong, perhaps they would stop.
If only they knew that we can not clean as quickly as they pollute, perhaps they would stop.
If only they knew killing us with great ripping beasts of destruction will harm them, perhaps they would stop.
If only it is not too late.
if you stand real still
arms out, eyes closed
quiet as the night
you will hear the individual songs
that make the roar of the trees
