Eternal maiden gaze out
and ascend field of green.
Nature beckons for a dance
when wind sweeps back curls.
Blatant beauty surrounds
and pushes humanity along.
It's such a long way to the top, but others have paved the way to make my path easier.
Imagine the back-breaking toil of those who laid the patchwork path to protect the precious hill from the erosion of our feet.
Nature needs cardtakers like those unknown sazviours, lest we trample upon that which we admire and call beautiful, trampling its beauty into the ground that gave it birth.
They took the challenge to create the path that makes our journey easier. Thank you.
