We all follow a path. Old, young, rich, poor, black, white, whole or damaged.

Whichever path we take is the right path for us, there is no other.

Sometimes we walk in brightness and light and all goes well. Sometimes we walk in shadow, and things seem hard.

In the dark times remember the light, it's still there - we need light to cause shadows. Walk onward to find the light ahead, draw strength from the light you left behind.

Whe your path runs in the light, store some up for the dark times you hit, then you'll never run out.

This path is your path, make it a good one :)

I walk forward
He follows behind
Am I up to this difficult task?
What if my foot catches
Along the way,
Or I lead him into darkness?

I am his leader
He follows me
Along this cobbled path
Into shadows or into sunlight
I lead him-
And hope we shall then pass

The trust in his eyes-
The hope I see there-
His love and compassion for me-
All I can do
Is the best I can do
As he follows behind, meekly.

Let's go this way, Mama!
Scampering down the sandy path,
Pass under the big tree.

A bench by the bubbling creek,
Wiggle our toes in the sand,
Wild irises glimmer in the shade: Just right
For making small boys smile.

"Hold my hand. Let's go",
Said she extending her hand,
And advancing ahead of me,
I too quickly obeyed and,
Grabbed her hand and lunged forward.

Not for a second,
Did I have any doubt,
That the hands will guide me,
To a place I deserve,
To a place I am safe.

The road lead us through,
Shrubs and thorns,
Through the lush fields,
Of barley and corns,
Through the soothing shadows,
Of aspen and pine,
Through the treacherous Sun
Dragging hands o' mine

The path was laden with troubles,
But she never burst my bubbles,
Always gave power to my wings,
Taught to gracefully take the stings,
She converted my thorny path,
Into a flowery red carpet
