Any and all posts are available for your creative mind to make an offering at any time (even ones where a writing has been placed on the front page like this one). If you are new here and want to offer to every image here, feel free. We are writers, WRITE!

Swans mate for life and are very loyal to one another. They provide safe havens for their families, defending their young chicks fiercely. Perhaps that is why I have always been so attracted to these lovely creatures.

The one swan may be saying to the other:

This is my silent song for you
My mate for life, my love.

Until we sing our last swan song
We’ll always be together.

this is my song. it sounds rather raspy dosnt it? my throat hurts from yelling so much. ahh, no matter. you've heard the song before. you know the tune and words by heart. i've even heard you humming it in the garden when you thought i wasn't there.
