Write the dialog of these young lovers.
Or offer them a story or a poem.

Rambling thoughts pour out from hearts content with infatuation. The newness of blossoming love intertwines with the sweet vulnerability of opening up to another human being.

Their bodies touch only at the arm. She tilts her head to the left as she surveys the way his eyes crinkle when he grins and she knows, in that moment, that he is the one.

Today, her Valentine. Tomorrow, her Lover.

I see this photo and think of my 23 year old son who has found his soulmate and will soon propose to her. I see this photo and think of myself at this tender age, in love with the man that became my husband and with whom I celebrate 31 years together. I see this photo and think of hope for the future, dreams, plans and goals. The world looks amazingly beautiful from this angle and from this phase of life.

How could such a beautiful day ever be forgotten? The number of stones they walked upon paled in comparison to the days they had known each other. It was here, where they stood, looking out at the world that would change so much for them in the coming days. The sky was soaring higher, the leaves were turning lighter, and the wind was blowing harder.
"What do you think?" he asked her.
She stared quietly for a moment and then turned to him. Over the next 20 minutes, his heart would sprint throughout every corner of his body, he would lose his breath, the wind would stop blowing, and the beautiful colors surrounding him would be lost forever. She placed the ring in his palm. He longed to at least look in her eyes one last time. She turned and walked away with her arms folded tightly and her head pointed toward her feet. She is counting the stones under them as she passes. How could such a beautiful day ever be forgotten?

He was traveling the world. She was taking a break from her life, deciding to breathe some fresh air and go somewhere new. They are old friends. They ran into eachother coincidentally, like so many other old friends. But nothing is ever a coincedence... They talk about forgiveness and love. They talk about what they've done and where they've been. An autumn leaf drifts into her hair, and he lifts it off, leading to a kiss.
After that day they return to their lives as usual. Writing old fashioned letters. Their love is as classic and timeless as a black & white photograph.
