Oh, sweet dear little berry mine
Picking you will just be fine
I have no doubt that you are true
As red invades my dress of blue
Come home with me and I shall wash
The dirt and fuss in water's toss
Sweet berry, dear, my love for you
Will grow with heart and thought anew
I have a friend for you to know
Waiting on the shelf to show
How wonderful a pair you'll make
A creamy chocolate bond to take
My favorite treats in summer be
Strawberry-chocolate dreams you see

STRAWBERRIES
Strawberry jelly, strawberry jam
A yummy beginning to an ordinary day
Strawberry topped waffles on special occasions
Pop tarts with strawberry when on the run
Chocolate coated strawberries, strawberry pie
The perfect way to end the day
Delectable sweetness with erotic sensations
An intimate treat for same hearted lovers
Strawberry sundae, strawberry shake
Ice creamy tastes to freeze the brain
Strawberry wine will be just fine
Cool and refreshing as tensions wash away
Nature's sweet goodness in a natural package
Delicious off the vine, delicious from the market
So many ways to tap the sunshiny goodness
But only at peak ripeness during the spring month of May
Sweet n Simple
Seedy n Tart
Tender n Tasty
Red Ripe Heart
Offer a bite
Give a red-lipped smile
Share a taste
And savor awhile
Oh, sweet dear little berry mine

Pleasing courtier knows
what Her Grace enjoys most.
A tray overflowing with
ripeness, color and promise.
The Queen dazzles all
with a velvet gown of glory.
The court whispers obsession
as she eyes her strawberries.
Delicious,
seed studded
harbingers of summer:
longing for whipped cream --
Strawberries.
tangy red sweetness
seduces my willing palate
seeds lodge in teeth
